2026-27 REGISTRATION (Coming 7/27)

Bucket Town Lacrosse promises a fun, local,  competitive lacrosse experience for its community of players and families.

2026-27 Program Offerings

  • REQUIREMENTS

    While Bucket Town seeks to always be inclusive and welcoming, there are 3 guidelines.

    - Bucket Town is open to all Hingham residents/students who play HYBL (Hingham Youth Boys Lacrosse);

    - Bucket Town is currently only a youth boys lacrosse program .

    - BTLC is a competitive team for players who are sincerely engaged with the sport of lacrosse, dedicated to improving, and looking to work hard and have fun with their friends and town teammates.

  • GRADES / AGES

    In 2026-2027, Bucket Town Lacrosse is fielding teams development opportunities for players in graduation years 2035 - 2037, with opportunities possible for highly capable 2038s. This correlates to rising (Fall 2026) 1st*, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders. Tournaments do not offer divisions any younger than rising 3rd.

    BTLC cannot guarantee there will be a full-team at every graduation-level.

    Due to tournaments adopting USA Lacrosse age standards, older players for their grade may not be able to participate at that graduation year level. A USA Lacrosse Membership with Age Verification may be required by Bucket Town for all players if the tournament requires it.   In special cases, players can play "up" or start early, with the approval of Bucket Town, so families of younger players are invited to connect w/us to discuss.

  • COMMITMENT

    Members of Bucket Town play and practice together year round, with the club promoting a concentration on the town season in the spring. Typically, practices and 1 tournaments occur at those grade levels in the fall, then we commence indoor practice and scrimmages throughout the winter, and then 2 summer tournaments (with potential for more) are also scheduled.

    If you have questions or concerns about the commitment and schedule, please reach out to us.

SELECTION PROCESS

BTLC does not hold tryouts at this time, however we do have to manage our rosters to ensure things run smoothly in terms of numbers and competitiveness.

We require all to sign up, and if we find that the fit isn't right,  be that based on skill level, demonstrated interest, or other criteria, Bucket Town will contact you for a conversation and next steps.
